  i have not attended any kingdom hall meetings in 10 years.

  the elders gave up on me a while ago.. the last 3 years i get phone calls to listen in to zoom meetings.

  listened in several times... nothing has changed!

  Plot twist: There WAS no Bethelite or slide presentation. She already knows.

  Slide presentation? 😳 That was a curve ball. Almost busted!

  Usually, my elder brother and his kids call with the Zoom I.D. and passwords. They never call me the next day to see if I Zoomed in the meeting.

  I'm beginning to agree with everyone that she threw a curveball to see if I really Zoomed in the Memorial. My cousin is too nice to throw me under the bus. We never discuss anything pertaining to the meetings and my lack of Kingdom Hall attendance.

  I think she called to have a real discussion, but soon figured out that I never Zoomed in and kindly didn't want to embarrass me.

  The question will 100% come up "who gave the talk"?

  I asked my cousin,'' Do you remember the brother's name?''

  She said, '' I don't remember.''

  The Memorial was at a large Assembly Hall. They are easily impressed when the main speaker flies in from Wallkill, N.Y. I remember years and years ago, a brother from New York Bethel ( brother Christensen ??? ) would fly in ( paid by our Kingdom Hall funds) and give the Memorial talk.

  I have not attended any Kingdom Hall meetings in 10 years. The elders gave up on me a while ago.

  The last 3 years I get phone calls to listen in to Zoom meetings. Listened in several times... nothing has changed! Same old song and dance.

  Sunday night my pioneer cousin calls me to see if I want the Zoom meeting I.D. and password. I tell her send them by e-mail. I hate to tell her that I would rather not listen in.

  Comes Tuesday night, I don't sign in, nor care to listen in the to Memorial talk.

  My cousin calls me this morning to see if I Zoomed in. She asks me what I thought about talk and the brother who flew in from Wallkill N.Y. I told her that he did a great job. She asks me what I thought about the slide presentation? I tell her the slide presentations were very informative. Luckily, she didn't ask me about what race he was and what color suit he was wearing. Changing the subject helped me from further questionings!

  The moral of the story: It is better to tell the truth than to lie!

  Elder asks my disfellowshipped cousin to leave house while grieving for his grandmother

  fourteen years ago i started a thread on how horrible my disfellowshipped cousin was treated after his mom passed away and the terrible actions on the part of the elders at the funeral home.. 67. horrible conduct by congregation elders at my cousin's funeral.............. well, here we are 14 years later, and things haven't changed!.

  my aunt ( who is my disfellowshipped cousin's grandmother ) was placed in home hospice care.

  the nurse told her daughters ( who are jehovah's witnesses and live with their mother ) that their mom probably has 2 days left to live and that they should call the immediate family.. my disfellowshipped cousin and his sister show up in the early morning.

  And yet, David Gnam, lawyer for the Canadian branch told the Supreme Court of Canada that when it comes to dealing with disfellowshipped individuals "normal family relations continue".

  Attorney David Gnam should be disbarred after lying to the Supreme Court of Canada. He doesn't mention that the disfellowshipped individuals need to sit in the back of the Kingdom Hall, leave before the meeting ends and cannot freely walk around.

  My cousin took a hidden video recording of the verbal confrontation she had with this asshole elder. She confronts the elder after her brother is made to leave the house.

  Since it's illegal to record someone without their knowledge, I will not post the video. I will summarize it the best that I can.

  My cousin: '' I just found out that you made my brother leave the house because you were uncomfortable having my brother around.''

  Elder : '' I did.''

  My cousin: '' Why did you make my aunt who just lost her mother make my brother leave. Why didn't go ask him to leave?''

  Elder: '' It's not my house.''

  My cousin: ''If you felt so uncomfortable, why didn't you leave?''

  Elder : ''Jehovah's law says...''

  My cousin : '' I don't care about any law. I'm disgusted with you.''

  Elder: '' Have a nice day.''

  My cousin : '' God bless you.''

  Horrible conduct by congregation Elders at my cousin's funeral.............

  Well, here we are 14 years later, and things haven't changed!

  My aunt ( who is my disfellowshipped cousin's grandmother ) was placed in home hospice care. The nurse told her daughters ( who are Jehovah's Witnesses and live with their mother ) that their mom probably has 2 days left to live and that they should call the immediate family.

  My disfellowshipped cousin and his sister show up in the early morning. My aunt passes away within hours. I show up and see both of them holding their grandmother's hand. I go home to pick up my wife.

  While I'm driving home, a congregation elder is called to come to the home, to give a prayer and wait with the family for a nurse to show up and declare my aunt deceased.

  The elder arrives at the home and finds my disfellowshipped cousin in the house. He gets so bent out shape and uncomfortable, that he asks that my disfellowshipped cousin be removed from the house. One daughter says he can stay and the other daughter says he should leave. My disfellowshipped cousin decides to leave, since he is ready to punch and injure the elder. His sister screams at the elder that he should be the one leaving, since he is so uncomfortable. She tells the elder that she is disgusted to hear him ask her brother to leave while they are grieving for their grandmother. The elder doesn't care, nor offers an apology for his behavior.

  Only in the land of Jehovah's Witnesses will you find this disgusting and heartless behavior!

  to most, being disfellowshiped is a terrible loss of friends family and god's perceived approval.

  but not to mark jones.

  in his words..... the best way i can describe it, is like when you leave highschool for the last time.

  This is one of the reasons why I quit going to meetings. Jesus could of given a message on how to treat those who stopped following him. But he didn't. He let them go their own way.

  Jehovah's Witnesses ( who really don't follow the true Jesus) stop all associations if you no longer wish to be a Jehovah's Witness. The Society take over the role of Jesus.

  Sorry I can tolerate that. This is a man that told 8 million people how to act and how to do and how to feel. We are making excuses for him . He claimed to be above everyone else but he couldn't help himself.

  Anthony Morris is nothing but a self-righteous, bitter, smug, arrogant, egotistical old man and a terrible story teller. He talks about apostates as maggots, as matches that Jehovah will extinguish, hot dogs being split by being on an open flame. He rants on tight pants on brothers and spandex on woman. He always goes off script.

  His speaking style is boring. He looks like he has a hard time breathing. Getting old may be one thing, but he may have health issues or a drinking problem.

  I love it when these smug assholes fall down from their high mountain tops. Anthony, please don't judge anyone! You take too much delight on the destruction and deaths of all the apostates. Maybe they have real claims on why they left the organization, and you lump them all in one group.
